Hawthorn jam can be done by cutting and peeling each fruit separately, straining the mass through a sieve. Fruits for tea and compote can be dried with all the stones. For preparing fruit puree from hawthorn, place the fruits and water in a medium and bring to the boil. Cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the fruits are soft and strain through a sieve into a large, bowl. Add sugar. Store in a sterilised jar.
· Puree from hawthorn and cranberry is very healthy. Hawthorn strengthens the heart, cranbarries promote renal function and at the same time normalize blood pressure. Hawthorn can be combined wirh cranberries and apples.

You can drink “Fake coffee” instead of coffee. It is possible that this or modified recipe was called coffee in the cuisines of many countries, because fruits contain caffee acid.

· Drink from hawthorn with fruit and oatmeal - a kilogram of fruit baked in the oven is sieved through a sieve. The night before, pour 300 g of oatmeal with 3 liters of boiled water, cool, strain, and add the fruit mass from hawthorn, add one hundred grams of sugar or honey. Such a drink is suitable for all tired, but especially elderly people who suffer from cardiovascular diseases or complain of memory impairment and insomnia.
· “Gogelmogel” with hawthorn - a tablespoon of juice or mashed potatoes, mix with a spoon of kefir, add egg yolk, whipped with a spoon of sugar or honey.
